This is a reminder that Burnsview’s Grade 7 parent information evenings are coming up very soon.

  • The French Immersion information night will be held on Thursday, January 17th, from 7:00 – 8:00 pm in the Burnsview Library. This evening will provide information specific to the Immersion program at Burnsview including testimonials from students, descriptions of Immersion courses and activities, and a question and answer period. All Grade 7 French Immersion students and their parents are invited to attend.

 

  • The second information night will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd, from 7:00 – 8:00 pm in the Burnsview Library, and will include an overview of the Grade 8 program including a description of courses, the course selection procedure, and extra-curricular opportunities offered at Burnsview. This evening is open to all Grade 7 parents and students interested in attending Burnsview. Parents attending the French Immersion information evening on January 17th will also benefit from attending this evening as other material will be covered.

 

 

 

CLOTHING BINS

Please note that school district will no longer be offering the clothing bin services any longer. The clothing bins will be locked until plans for removal are finalized.

EARLY FRENCH IMMERSION DEADLINE is Wednesday January 23, at 4pm. If you know any families interested in enrolling their child in Early French Immersion for next year, please encourage them to go to our district website.

 

 

A reminder to the parents of grade 6 and 7 students, that the first payment for camp is due on Wednesday. 

 

Thank you to all all those who supported the book fair. Our school was able to keep $845 worth of books and we also have over $1100 to spend on other Scholastic resources.

 

Can you help? We are still looking for coaches for the grade 6 boys team. Please let us know if you would be willing to help.
