Delta School District Vision 2030 Week

April 4 – 8 will be vision week for all Delta Schools. Students will be discovering features of the Delta School District’s Vision 2030 through morning announcements. Please check out our DG Twitter Page (@DGElem) for more about vision week and other events at our school.

Lost and Found

The trolley that is placed in the front of the office has some fragile lost and found items that we were unable to place outside the gym prior to spring break. If you recognize any of the items, please stop by the office to pick up your items.

Nordel and 112th Adult Crossing Guard Position

We are still looking for an adult paid crossing guard for the Nordel and 112th Crossing. This position is half hour before school and half hour after school when school is in session; perfect for a retired person wanting to do something everyday. If you know someone interested in this paid position, please email stee@deltaschools.ca

Tsawwassen First Nations Treaty Day

Tsawwassen First Nation Treaty Day ‐ April 3
On Sunday, April 3, Tsawwassen First Nation (TFN) will be celebrating Treaty Day. This is the 13th anniversary of the TFN Treaty, the first urban treaty in British Columbia. This treaty restored land ownership and self-government jurisdiction to the Tsawwassen people after many years of negotiation. We also encourage you to read the newly released Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act Action Plan 2022-2027. Within the 89 actions listed in this plan, there are a number specific to the district’s continued work.

Crossing Guard Schedule – Until May, 2022

Please check the crossing guard schedule for when your child is scheduled to be a crossing guard. Reminders to please find someone to take your spot if you are unable to be out for your shift. Many thanks!
