Week at a Glance December 7 -11

Dear DG Families,

Term 1 Report Cards

Term 1 report cards will be available for parents to view this Thursday, December 10th.  An email will be sent out when the report cards have been uploaded to parent connect.

Winter Celebration of Learning

With the COVID restrictions on gathering, we will not be able to have our traditional Christmas concert this year.  Preparations for a traditional Christmas Concert generally takes a lot of instructional class time.  With the uncertainty of what our complete school year will look like, our staff made the decision to cherish and preserve instructional time for learning for our students.  As such, in lieu of a traditional Christmas Concert, we will be sending home a Winter Celebration of Learning video to all parents on Tuesday, December 15th (what would have originally been our Christmas concert day).

Cold and Rainy Weather

With winter upon us, we are reminding parents to ensure that students are dressed to play outside (eg. gloves, toques, jackets, boots).  Please also label your child’s items, especially gloves, so that any lost items can make it back to their rightful owners.
