Term 1 Report Cards
Term 1 Report Cards were posted to Parent Connect on December 18th. While many of our parents have logged on to view the report cards, we have noticed that not all of our parents have done so. Report cards provide written records of student performance on curriculum outcomes over a period of time. Teachers work hard to create report cards that provide parents (and students) important information about what a student knows and can demonstrate relative to the curriculum, as well as the next steps for success. If you have not yet logged on to view your child’s Term 1 Report Card, please do.
Basketball Schedule
Please find, below, the link to the Basketball schedule for our grade 6 and 7 students. Thank you to our fantastic staff members who have volunteered to help out with coaching and supervision this year. These staff members are Ms. Leveque, Mr. Mok, Ms. Chan, Ms. Flag, M Lawler, and Ms. Savu. Thank you, also, to Mrs. Methven, who is coaching the grade 7 girls’ basketball team, and former DG students Anushka and Robin for their leadership and assistance!

Ready Set Learn
Devon Gardens is pleased to host Ready, Set, Learn! for our preschool aged children (ages 3, 4, 5) and their caregivers. We will be hosting a concert on Tuesday, Feb 11th at 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. in our school gym to welcome our soon to be students. Children and their caregivers are welcome to come on that day to hear a concert and get a free book. No RSVP is needed; the gym doors will open at 9:25 a.m. right before the concert.
Battery Recycling – until the end of February
The ECO Team at Devon Gardens is collecting single use batteries to recycle. If you have single use batteries to recycle, please bring them into your child’s class or to the office.
PAC Meeting
Did you know that as a parent/guardian at Devon Gardens you are automatically a member of the PAC? We will have a PAC meeting on Monday, February 3rd at 7 p.m. in our school library. ALL parents are welcome to attend. Please join us at the next PAC meeting to find out more about all the great things PAC does to make a difference for our school.
