On-Line Report Cards – Another Important Reason to Sign-on to Parent Connect

Please make sure you can access Parent Connect as this is how you will be able to view your child’s report cards  https://cimsweb.deltasd.bc.ca/schoolconnect/parentsignone.aspx

If you are having difficulty accessing Parent Connect and/or need assistance, please contact Ms. Huffington in the office.

We understand there are sometimes extenuating circumstances which may prevent you from viewing your child’s report card online (eg. limited access to technology). As such, you may request a printed copy of your child’s report card.  Should you wish to do so, please send a note or email to your child’s teacher by Wednesday, December 1st.

 

District Opportunity – Indigenous Parent Advisory Council 

The District is looking for parents/guardians who may be interested in joining the Delta School District Indigenous Parent Advisory Council.   If you are interested, or would like more information, please email Mme Greenhalgh 

 

 

Neufeld Farms

The PAC has organized a Fundraiser through Neufeld Farms.
Check out the items available from Neufeld Farms in Abbotsford.
The Neufeld Farms ordering is open and ready to take orders. Please feel free to share this info with family and friends. There are plenty of great items on the ordering especially good for the upcoming holiday season The Devon Gardens PAC really appreciates the support in this fundraising program.
The last day to place an order is November 22nd, 2021.
Plan to pick up your items at 5pm on December 2nd, 2021.
We will do a drive through pick up line in the upper parking lot on delivery night, please make sure you know if any friends or family place orders so that you are able to pick up their items for them.

How to Order

  • Select items/order per child & pay

Other information to note:

  • Hot Lunch ordering is optional. Absolutely no-obligation to order.
  • Proceeds from all hot lunch fundraising will be administered by the PAC and go towards the purchase of school/student/classroom needs/supplies/events, etc.
  • COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed. All orders will be received from the hot lunch vendors individually packaged by student name and ready for classroom distribution to minimize any additional handling. No additional utensils or condiments will be provided. Please feel free to send a drink, etc. to supplement your child(s) hot lunch order.
  • Based on the above point, parents not new to the school will notice that there are limited menu options.
  • If you have more than one child at the school, place orders for all children first and then proceed to final payment. This will save you transaction fees.
  • Subway Nutritional Information and Ingredient Guide, not available for Fresh Slice Pizza.
  • Please be mindful of known absences/vacations when placing orders.
  • For the balance of the 2021-22 school year, Devon Gardens PAC plans to offer a hot lunch option on every last Friday of the month that school is in session. You will receive information on the January to March orders in early January and for the April to June orders in early April.

– Please note, per COVID procedures, the school is  continuing to limit the dropping off of items, including lunches, throughout the school day. This has not changed.  We are not able to accept lunches dropped off at the office on the special lunch days.

 

Reminder – PAC Fundraisers ongoing throughout the year

Return-it Express

PAC has created a school fundraising account. To participate, simply bring your containers to the depot in sealed, clear bags, and enter the registered phone number, 604-581-6185, into the Express kiosk. You will be prompted to select the number of bags you’re dropping off, the kiosk will automatically print the same number of sticker tags displaying our PACs unique Express account code. Tag each of your bags with a sticker tag and drop the bags off in the designated Express drop-off area to be counted.
