Project: Absorbing CO2

« The purpose of this experiment is to determine which plant is best at absorbing CO2, as the world is now suffering from significant global warming, which has resulted in excessive heat, short summers, and the destruction of ice in the Arctic. Also by planting the best CO2 absorbing plants we can reduce our carbon impact. »

Charge less drive more

« Humans are intelligent and have created numerous inventions for comfort, but they have a major flaw in caring for the earth. They produce greenhouse gasses, which trap heat from the sun, leading to climate change. These gasses come from various sources, such as factories, cars, and industrial processes. What I will be focusing on is cars, as cars produce lots of CO2. We have made electric cars, but they have one very major flaw, and that is range and charge time. In this project, I will attempt to solve these issues by making a car that generates electricity while driving. »

Why

« The purpose of this experiment is to find out whether an electric car with a generator powered by its wheels can generate more or less electricity compared to an electric car with solar panels, which can be used to charge a battery.

While I can see the generation of voltage and amperage in both scenarios, theoretically, they can charge a battery. If you’re wondering why I chose this project, it’s to help with climate change since transportation produces a big chunk of the greenhouse gasses us humans produce. Electric cars are taking over because they’re better for the earth but there is one major flaw : charge time and range. In my project I will try to maximize the range of electric car batteries. This would be very helpful in real life because, as you know, all cars sold have to be electric by 2035 due to climate change, so this will help cut the cost of EVs as batteries are one of the main costs of an electric car. This will most definitely make electric cars more affordable. »
